Josef Stalin -

VODKA WITH LENIN & STALIN

Larger than Life Lenin

Once upon a time, a Lithuanian Mushroom Magnate and former Champion Wrestler - yes, such people do exist - had an idea to create the largest collection of Soviet monuments, statues and memorabilia IN THE WORLD.

Here in this southernmost corner of Lithuania, he amassed the statues, lying redundant in his beloved country, and did indeed create an unique and vast collection, opening it up for all to visit, to marvel and to reminisce.

Officially known as Gruto Parkas, but everyone simply calls it STALINWORLD.

For those who never visited the USSR, this is your chance to step back in time......

HOW CAN THIS BE USED FOR CORPORATES?

Alternatively, this makes for a great day trip with plenty to see and do in the vicinity - see our combinations below.
You can even have LENIN & STALIN look-alikes to "assist" and Soviet-era dance and song troupes.

Actually no. If they did, then we would not offer this trip.
Don't forget this is owned by a Lithuanian. The vast majority of visitors are Lithuanians and Russians, who have come for a "step back in time" and to experience and to marvel at the 20th century Sculture and Art.

HOW ABOUT COMBINING THIS WITH:
Trakai Castle - a Lithuanian Beauty

TRAKAI...

One time capital of Lithuania with its ancient castle surrounded by a beautiful national park.
Other points of interest include the Karaites Sect, an offshoot of medieval Judaism.
Perfect spot for an meal - we can even arrange a banquet in the castle - or just a wander.

Spa & Massage - lie back and relax

The nearby picturesque town of Druskininkai is Lithuania's leading spa resort, surrounded by pine forests and open lakes.
Home to 9 sanatoria, including a hall full of mud baths.
The town takes its name from "druska", the Lithuanian word for salt, due to the high saline content of the many local springs
In 2003, Newsweek ranked Druskinikai among the top ten spa towns of Europe.
